Verbal Inspection Reports
- Occasionally, a Buyer will obtain a “verbal” inspection report rather than a “written” inspection report for home, roof, chimney, etc.
- This is not a recommended option, but if Buyer chooses to do this:
- Prepare an email stating that the Buyer chose to have a “verbal” report.
- Identify report as “Home,” “Roof,” “Chimney,” “Soils,” “Foundation,” etc. inspection.
- State that Buyer has approved the “verbal” report as part of Buyer Investigation.
- Treat this email as you would a “written” report and have the email signed by Seller & Buyer.
