Verbal Inspection Reports

Verbal Inspection Reports

  1. Occasionally, a Buyer will obtain a “verbal” inspection report rather than a “written” inspection report for home, roof, chimney, etc.
  2. This is not a recommended option, but if Buyer chooses to do this:
    1. Prepare an email stating that the Buyer chose to have a “verbal” report.
    2. Identify report as “Home,” “Roof,” “Chimney,” “Soils,” “Foundation,” etc. inspection.
    3. State that Buyer has approved the “verbal” report as part of Buyer Investigation.
    4. Treat this email as you would a “written” report and have the email signed by Seller & Buyer.
