MENTOR’S WEEKLY CHECKLIST

Discuss LAST WEEK’S homework

What classes did you take since our last meeting? What did you learn? What questions do you have from those classes?

What did you take away from coaching in the last week? What follow-up questions od you have?

How many properties did you tour? Discuss the process, i.e. set appointments, previewing, showing…

How many clients did you meet with this week? What happened?

Discuss a particular facet in the real estate transactional process. Give personal experience.

Discuss their time management. Look at their 4-1-1

Discuss what classes they will be attending during the next week.

Give homework assignments (Prepare RPA with specific terms, prepare listing agreement, TDS & SPQ, Present an offer, Write a counter offer, Explain Arbitration Clause, Prepare request for repairs, review a preliminary title report, overcome client objections

As a Mentor in the Keller Williams Realty Mentoring Program, Mentor agrees to:

  • Meet with each mentee to introduce themselves.
  • Weekly scheduled meeting with mentoring agenda.
  • Be in regular attendance at the team meetings, market center, and regional training events.
  • Follow the Keller Williams Realty systems and models.
  • Work with mentee through three complete closed sales transactions- this involves time outside of weekly meetings.
  • Be available to assist mentee in writing contracts and go on appointments as necessary, within reason.
  • If the mentor is not available during vacation times or in an emergency situation, it is the responsibility of that mentor to arrange to have an approved back-up person available to assist mentee in their absence.
  • Mentor will review all contract and files and will advise TL immediately if problem arises.
  • Mentor must attend bi-monthly committee meetings; January, March, and May.
  • Mentors will come to the meetings prepared to discuss best practices, common challenges, KW core training and any other challenges that arise.
  • Mentor will keep a file on each mentee to provide a report to the Team Leader as needed.
  • If mentee is not performing by attending classes per mentor instruction, or not showing up for mentor meetings, mentor will advise TL after 2 occurrences.
