How to Get Open Houses
How to Get Open Houses:
- Attend weekly Team Meetings and introduce yourself to Listing Agents who present new listings, ask for the opportunity
- Put a request for an open house on our closed Facebook Page.
- Watch the closed Facebook Page frequently for posts requesting an agent needed to hold an open house. Respond quickly!
- Review listings on listing board, contact listing agent and ask for the opportunity
- New agents can also work through their mentor to potentially get Open House opportunities
Most importantly is to be well trained, have attended all of the Fundamental Training Classes and be well prepared. Show up early, put out lots of signs, turn on lights, lock up well and contact the Listing Agent to give a full report on the activity. Your professionalism will be the key to getting more open house opportunities.
We highly recommend having two agents at open houses for your safely, and to protect the seller’s belongings.
