I took a Listing, so what are the next steps?

Congratulations on your NEW listing!

Steps to be taken once all listing documents are signed.

  1. Create a Listing Opportunity in Command. (TC can do this for you once you email copies of the listing document to the TC.)
  2. Upload Listing Agreement to Command.  Include the SELM signed by Seller and Team Leader. You are responsible to email the SELM to your local Board of Realtors within 1 business day. You won’t need the SELM if you put the home on the MLS within 1 business day.
  3. Make sure the Seller Disclosures are completely filled out and signed.
  4. Refer to the Listing Checklist to make sure you have everything required.
  5. Order Marketing materials, Install Supra Lock box, order Photography and Order Sign post to be installed. Our office has many recommendations for sign companies, marketing and photographers.  Lock boxes can be purchased at your local Board of Realtors.
  6. Discuss Broker’s Tour dates and times with Seller.
  7. Discuss Open House dates and procedures with Seller.
  8. Order any inspections that Seller has agreed to provide.
  9. Add Broker’s tours/Open Houses to your MLS listing.
  10. Communicate with your Seller as frequently as possible all the steps you are taking to sell their home.

Classes you can take to support you on the listing path:
