How to Complete a Referral Agreement

How to Complete a Referral Agreement:

  1. Locate the Referral Agreement form in your Zipforms Library.  see Sample below.
  2. You need to fill out the “Referring Agent portion and brokerage Keller Williams Realty.
  3. You need to fill out the “Recipient Agent/Brokerage.
  4. Decide on the percentage of the commission you wish to be paid.  Common is 25%-30%, most common is 25% to ask from the receiving broker
  5. Decide on HOW long you want to this referral agreement to be in place.  The default timeframe is 12 months.  (If they Buy, Sell, Lease) Whatever the case is.
  6. Any other terms/conditions NEED to be put on this agreement.

Who needs to SIGN THIS FORM:

  1. Your TEAM LEADER needs to sign, please send to them via DocuSign.  (electronic signatures is best)
  2. Obtain TAX ID# from your MCA/or Assistant MCA

Final Step:

Send to the other Broker/Realtor for Signature from their office manager/broker or Team Leader.
